Album Notes

Sugar Pine has been creating memorable musical experiences for 24 years. Their delicious harmonies bring a new expression to songs we all remember, and their original material feels familiar, somehow. From the Eagles to James Taylor, Hank Williams and Stevie Nicks, Sugar Pine brings a flavor to the music that comes from the down-home mountain communities in which they perform and live. This music just makes you feel good!

When you have the same gig for 24 years, you must be doing something right! Keeping things new, and giving people what they want, Sugar Pine has been entertaining thousands of people every year at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad in Fish Camp, California. This CD is in response to the many requests from those who have shared our nostalgic evenings, and want to take the experience home with them.

Ok, Just because Gina's my cousin, has no stipulation on how my rating affects my review....grins. Without a doubt, this is a great CD and looking forward in a future 2nd CD. Each song is a toe tap'n, finger nob'n, humming along in a rhythmic formation. I love this CD as well as the purchase and delivery was exceptionally on cue. Thank you Sugar Pine. Just leaves me in wanting more....

Especially liked "Seven Bridges Road". Our local group has never heard it done with instruments... maybe hearing this, they'll try it too.

Having worked and known these 4 people of intergrity for over 20 years, their tireless efforts and time they donate back to their community say's alot about why they choose to live and play where sometimes the rewards are more then money and fame. Greg Haywood

If you are over 40, this album contains some of your favorite songs. If you are less than 40 years old, these songs will become some of your favorites. The instrumentation and vocals are lively and varied. The collective personality of the group comes through clearly on this recording. They must be very fun people! Obviously, they enjoy making music.
