Album Notes

„Suicide DJs” are unique in their communication with the audience, with the minimal original sound and acrobatic/dance elements. Shows are filled with theatrical and musical parts: theatre becomes music and music becomes theatre during concerts. Music full of old-school electric sounds, various rhythms, trombone sounds. Also lyrics are very important to songs. Suicide DJs creates unique show, which didn’t leave unamused.

This just one year existing group attracts more and more people, concerts halls full of audience, and many of them becoming true fans. Actors – musicians group „Suicide DJs“ is getting more famous in Lithuania. Now they become real concert phenomena, but they don’t spoil their fans with records, just on the April they made the first studio record song “The Samurai Song”, which is one of favourites songs in concert programme. This vivacious song is also one that audience love the most.

Band bunch together just last August and they already have won award from Lithuanian culture edition „Pravda“ on January as the best musical newcomers of the year.

The first band‘s album „Animaton (...)“ was released this year in the end of October. There are many various styles and moods in this album, so everybody, who likes convivial, funny and snappy music, will love it. 5 musicians-actors create odd and exclusive sound performance. One more surprise is that it‘s double – extra cd „Stipriai kitaip“. This one is for different poetry lovers.
