ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

This album is a partnership between my daughter and I. I wrote most of the songs and she wrote the lyrics, and she is 12 years old. I understand that the age is irrelevant, but, if you think about it, it is a children's Cd written by a child.
Being originally from Brazil, I carried a lot of my native rhythms on this album. I also had participation of great musicians adding a lot in the instrumental part. It will please the kids as much as the grown up with nice warm solos too.
Most of the songs are original, except "Alligator in the Elevator" by Rick Charette, "Zoom zoom zoom" by Ellen Allard and "My dream last night" by Marcos Amorim and Julia Boucher. I also did a couple of covers like "Down by the Bay" in a samba carnival feel and "Open and shut" using a exquisite instrument called Berimbau.
