Written and recorded between January and December '06, "Miles To Go" bridges the gap between traditional Irish music and modern day music. The songs range from old favorites to new originals, just like the neighborhood they were brewed in.
McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY is as diverse as it comes. The soul of the Irish, as well as Irish Americans, runs through that street as fast as the Guinness runs through the taps.
"Miles To Go" is the soundtrack of all of our lives. We all grew up in New York, were raised with Irish music, and learned to love it. This album is everything that being Irish American is about. Dancing, singing, loving, laughing, drinking, crying, just trying to make ends meet, while making the best out of whatever situation life hands you.. These are the stories from the New York Irish-American experience.
We hope you enjoy "Miles To Go" as much as we enjoyed making it.

Sullivan's Jack is Awesome!!
author: Gabrielle Figueroa
I go up the Catskills every Memorial Day Weekend. My cousins were always talking about how their friend, Andrew McCarrick, was in the band Sullivan's Jack who played down the road at the Blackthorn. It wasn't until recently that I first heard the band. Every Sunday, I listen to Ceol Na Gael on WFUV, and one day they played Rebel Song. Needless to say I've fallen in love with an awesome band and some more great traditional & modern Irish music :)

I purchased this CD from CD Baby. These guys have a interesting take on traditional songs. I enjoyed the versions of "Catch Me if you Can" and "Roads of Kildare. I bet they would be great to catch live.
