We worship Cheese. The last time you made a mistake will be remembered far longer than the last time you succeeded. Don't worry about tomorrow; it will happen or it won't; you can't do anything about it. If you listen to this record you might wonder why it is not as good as the new one, and that's because we're older and better now. Juts kidding. Spend your Deutchmarks any way you want.

'whats done is done' is, in my opinion, the birth of an artist and an amazing testament of how art imitates a life that imitates art. the key to this e.p. is, melodies. somehow, in a world where melodies are thought up everyday by millions, ben heywood has put out a recording that defies all of those 'thought up melodies' and shows the reality of arts exsistance outside of life. something that WE did not create, but simply applied from an understanding that is not yet understood. hearts and failures and triumphs. all in all they make up something bigger than emotions or songs, they create life; and heywood captured this in the songs on 'whats done is done'.

This is what happens when pop meets real life.
author: ron
Like the artist's name suggests, 'whats done is done', is like the summer fling in early august. you enjoy the good times together with the deep down sadness that in a few weeks he or she will be gone. like eating a candy cane laced with a depressant, 'whats done is done' perfectly combines upbeat pop with real life experience, without pulling any punches. you'll be bobbing your head and singing along to songs about difficult friendships and relationships that don't completely satisfy. 'whats done is done ep' is honest, well-written, and well-produced first effort that you just can't stop listening to.
