SUMMERZ EVE: Their Story.
From the unfinished basement of Connie "Pickles" Dilworth's parents home in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, magic was born. Four best friends, armed with electric guitars and a burning desire to avoid going to their shift at Arby's, made a promise to each other: to become the best, most kick-assest band they could be.
Lead singer Summer Kewler, a hot teenage girl, leads the rock rebellion. Guitarist Jenna Glenlivet explains: "We had a lot of fun, and--"Fuck yeah we did!!", Drummer Mara Spermatozza, interjects. Mara interrupts a lot....but her dad owns a big van so, well, you know how that goes.
They love beer, being bad and wonder bras. They described their orgins in the Donna's-esque "THEME FROM SUMMERZ EVE." As for men? "Well, sometimes there's only one way to tell if he's right" winks Summer, and with the Cheap Trick - inspired "MAGICALLY DELICIOUS" you learn their basic, primal requirement to dating.
"PLEASURE KITTY" is "a naughty nod to traditional girl groups of a bygone era", Connie the showoff/big reader says, to the blank stares of her bandmates.
They even took a turn with Country Rock with the poignant "MY VAGINA'S NOT BROKEN, IT'S MY HEART THAT ACHES" "We love that cowboy shit", Mara smiles, warmly. "And it's a true story"' says Jenna, as she picks at her flakey black nail polish. "What we wrote is what it's like to be us, you know? True Shit."
And did we mention that the song STEVE is featured in the CW's Tv show "Pepper Dennis"? Um, yeah, it is. That's the show starring the guy from Full House's ex wife and she's funny.
With"Feminine Hijinx", they fianlly get to flip the bird back at the school lunch ladies. These undisputed champions of post-pubescent girl rock channel their teenage angst into their rock anthems, the perfect tunes to listen to while shoplifting cigarettes, drinking 3.2 beer, or French kissing that guy you met last weekend at Wal-mart.
And with Summer's step dad Brad buying them beer, there's no stopping these power pop revivalists.
..........May we present...from the bowels of the Dilworth' s basement to the toppermoist of the poppermoist...SUMMERZ EVE!

TEENAGE GIRLS & ROCK N ROLL-ALL HAIL SUMMERZ EVE!!
author: Lynn RNRWENCH
As an old school rock chick I LOVE this CD. With the state music is in these days, SUMMERZ EVE are a breath of fresh ROCKIN' air! These girls obviously know their roots and put their own twist and shout on the classic themes of sex, partying, boys and teenage snottiness! PLEASURE KITTY should be every girls' theme and every boys' requirement! -MY VAGINA'S NOT BROKEN IT'S MY HEART THAT ACHES--I bet Shania Twain wouldn't go there!! Fun and funny stuff!!
Give SUMMERZ EVE your money-they've earned it!!

These girls get right to it: Sweet riffs, spicy lyrics!
author: Paul "Hunter" Sebastian
This teenage foursome from the Up(yours)per Midwest, USA, picks up where the Runaway left off (but with better chops?)...The recurring theme throughout is indeed their Feminine Hijinx: life on the road, in their rooms, and other dark, smokier places. And it's, at times, fricking hysterical. In the right way. We're not laughing at them, SUMMERZ EVE is laughing at us. Great riffs, heavy chords, slapping backbeats.
RAWK ME, ladies.

Their music rocks and they are enthusiastic about being sassy girls
author: Jack Little/Metal Maidens
First there were the LUNACHICKS. Then there were THE DONNAS. Now we have SUMMERZ EVE. The music rocks and they are enthusiastic about being sassy girls. They’re having fun at their gigs, going to parties and living dangerously. The band aren't afraid to talk about their sexuality. In fact, they’re happy about it. You might recognize your youth or someone elses in SUMMERZ EVE’s songs. It's all presented in good humor. “Feminine Hi-Jinx” starts off with “Theme From Summerz Eve”. The song is about life from a girl bands perspective. It observes "We do as we please, because we’re Summerz Eve and we’re a bunch of hotties." There are lots of chords and uptempo sounds. “Party Down The Street” is about an underage drinking party. The vocals are easy to hear. Sometimes they alternate with the chords. The second part is cute. She observes "I mostly want you. Your friends are alright". In country music we often hear songs about pure women, who are heartbroken. SUMMERZ EVE give us a country sounding song with the unlikely name of “My Vagina's Not Broken, It's My Heart That Aches”. A doubtfull relationship ended suddenly. She's decided to be a slut about it. If this sounds like fun, you'll like the rest of the CD.
