On Thanksgiving Day of 1995 in Appleton, Wisconsin, after eating stuffing and meat with loved ones, four gents got together to start a rock band. They decided to call themselves SUNDAY FLOOD.

After over a decade of playing hundreds of shows across the great Midwest, a few line-up changes, a few full-length and EP releases, and years of living life along the way, two of the original members remain, and SUNDAY FLOOD continues to live on and evolve.

Finding most music scenes laughable and the intentions of most bands equally laughable, SUNDAY FLOOD has chosen to stay ultimately true to themselves. Not necessarily by making a conscious effort at it, but by realizing that doing it any other way would be unthinkable.

Influenced by a wide range of music and day to day life, SUNDAY FLOOD is known for intense live shows, pounding rhythms, and a weaving of dissonance, melody, and dynamics.
