A great voice for such a great band
So exciting to hear Kelly\'s voice in a band that reminds me the Brother COL days... Saw Kelly with COL in Brussels (12/19/1993)opening for Robert Plant. I won\'t never forget that evening... especialy the opening act...

In Awe!
As a COL fan I have always loved Kelly's voice. Finding this little gem has been a bittersweet joy. I only came across this after finding out about Kelly's passing. I'll be honest, I have a tear in my eye as I listen to this, R.I.P Kelly Holland, Thankyou for enriching my life with your music.

Welcome Home
It's been a long long time but finally Kelly Holland seems to have found a new outlet for his fantastic voice. Rick Watson is perfect, a guitarist and songwriter with a great sense of riff and melody. Yeah it sounds 'Southern' but it sure don't sound old fashioned... and it rocks in that timeless way good music should.

Comparisons with Cry Of Love are going to be made, and that's fair enough, but that band is gone and Sun Dog is here right now. What's really exciting is that there's more to come.

Can't wait.

Have Mercy!
Hell I loved Cry of Love, both versions, but the first album with Kelly on lead was real special. It was just good old downhome roots rock at it finest. Kelly damn sure had a set of pipes on him then and now more than ever. My friends and I down here in Mobile AL never got a chance to see COL and we were taken aback at kelly`s departure, but a man has to follow his own path. COL continued but not in the same vein as Brother. Good to see your doin well Kelly! Sun Dog sounds kinda like where Brother left off. Lettin` ya know man you got a following in the Mobile Area of southern Alabama. Come on down anytime, man!
