Album Notes

'The quality on 'Monday 23' is so tight one might think the quartet already dipped into the $250,000 it won from Garageband.com in January. Nope. 'Monday 23' sounds great because the band knows what it wants and spent three years getting it right on these 13 layered, dreamy originals, including 'I Walked Away,' the song that beat out 30,000 other entries in the contest. ' (above review Salt Lake Tribune) 'There isn't an element of 'Monday 23' that seems lacking or out of place, from the tasteful string and horn arrangements to the cover art. Monday 23 is the most refreshing, and best thing I've heard yet this year.' - (Fakejazz.com)

Beautiful

One of the best albums I have ever heard. Sometimes fragile, sometimes loud, always brilliant.

Pure pop perfection - hooks that will stay with you a long time.

This stopped us both in our tracks. We listen to a lot of cds, and this one offers something special. Great vocals, great guitar work and great songs. We're behind the curve in finding out about this release but it should be more widely known. Wah-oh has hit single written all over it. Lots of the tones and moody sides that they delve into stay loaded with good melodies that stick in your head rather than just wallowing in depressing themes. An amazing cd that should find a broad audience if there's any justice in the world.

Just what I was hoping for

I really like this CD. The band reminds me sometimes of No Doubt and Radiohead (which I both like). I don't usually listen to pop music because it seems trite and commercial, but I will be listening to this CD for a long time. Definitely worth the price.

Where can I get more of their CDs?
author: Mark Peterson
If you like a melancholy pop kind of sound with great synth work, this is it. These guys have it together--the sound, the lyrics, everything. Who said nothing good could come out of Provo? (Well, okay I once lived in Provo!) These guys are great, I just need to find more of their CDs!
