Album Notes

Well known musicians of the Santa Clara Valley in California, Ron and Anna Green have been at the center of Western and Folk music in Northern California for many years, releasing two folk music albums with earlier groups.

As SUNRISE they focus on Western music. Both their first Western CD, "On The High Desert Trail" and their new release, "Comin' Home", blend Ron's skillful guitar picking, Anna's Native American flute and percussion along with a smooth vocal harmony that transports one to old time and modern day Western vistas.

"Ron and Anna Green are a perfect match for the male/female duos of the past" .

They offer a mosaic of music reflecting the life of peoples in the West. They sing of cowboys and cowgirls, horses and riders, romance on the trails, children's play, a lullaby for young riders, a caballero's love for his horse, a legend of the sun from our first Americans, plus harmonica and Native flute instrumentals. Their music inspires visions of rugged beauty and life in the wide open spaces of the Western American lands.
