Tower de force!
author: Bruce Dickenson
Suntower. What can one say? A rare blend. At once musician's musicians and great hard rock band. Kevin Whelan's peerless comprehension of melody, counterpoint and trained vibratto is seldomed otherwise coupled with a screaming harmonics and slunky riffage. Zed Leppelin, his namesake anagram a forced confession of guilt to relentless pounding bass groove. Dalton Floundry, the gravely tomb upswell of howlin wolf with a Chris Cornelesq stadium filling banchee metal scream. But one must see Suntower live to understand what synergy means. A triumvarate of passionate and striking studs plying the trade. No apologies asked, no quarter given. Listen to this record!

I bought the CD after throughly enjoying I.B.C. on the radio, 92.1FM. I am so impressed with the other tracks as well. IBC is still a favorite and Wake Up a close second. The music and lyrics are excellent examples of how rock should sound. The evolution of rock has been captured wonderfully on Not From Concentrate and it's all good. The CD is well suited for driving with stereo blasting. Thanks guys. Keep rocking!
