Album Notes

Superdude is a true original, a child of the 60's born in Flatbush, Brooklyn, N.Y. and starred as "Superboy" at the Brighton Beach water shows. Later in his teens he became SUPERDUDE, a regular at Andy Warhol's "Factory" with gossip his specialty and always guaranteed Warhol's ear: the famous class photo of "Andy Warhol's Superstars" has placed him in that very spot.

Superdude was MC for bands like The New York Dolls and KISS.
Jackie Curtis introduced him to Charles Ludham's Ridiculous Theatrical Company, where he appeared in 5 productions including the famous "Bluebeard".

SUPERDUDE's live performances span over three decades. From the Punk scene at CBGB's & Max's Kansas City to Webster Hall, The Mercury Lounge and Life. SUPERDUDE was host of his own cable TV show, The Superdude Party". He also appeared on MTV, NBC, Sky TV and VH1.

In 2006 SUPERDUDE won two Global Marijuana Music Awards for Best Rock & Best Reggae. The songs were "Pot Head Punk", taken from the album "Pot Head Punk", and "African Herbsman" from the album "Guerilla Rock".
DUDE's previous album is called "Grind It To A Finish".

Over the last few years SUPERDUDE's sound & style have become more and more popular with the '4:20 scene' in Europe & Australia, and has performed (and won awards) at festivals like:
Global Marijuana Music Awards (Sydney, Australia)
Grass-A-Matazz, Second Edition (Amsterdam, Holland)
10th Highlife Festival (Amsterdam, Holland)
Spannabis 2007 (Barcelona, Spain)

Summer 2007: SUPERDUDE, just back from New York, is in Amsterdam to record the remix of African Herbsman: DJ DUTHC vs SUPERDUDE - AFRICAN HERBSMAN.
