Surf Zombies

It is a known fact among leading scientists that surf instrumental music releases
endorphins from the human brain and nobody makes it flow like The Surf
Zombies. A highly trained four man entertainment unit, The Surf Zombies feature
all original twisted surf instrumental fun as envisioned by land-locked legendary
Iowa stunt guitarist Brook Hoover. Moving beyond the pure sound of the early 60's
movement, The Surf Zombies introduce new sounds to the genre experimenting
with fuzz, synths, ska, punk, garage and bossa nova beats.

Bass-zombie Joel McDowell pounds out superbly energetic melodic straight edge
bass lines. 2nd guitar zombie Kyle Oyloe brings fresh de-compositions to the
band along with hypnotic dueling guitar chops. Drum zombie Possum
keeps this troupe flying straight with savage teenage lust beats.

Surf Zombies have been covered by magazines world wide and have just released
their 2nd mind melting full length cd “Something Weird”. TV shows and movie
sound tracks have utilized the undisputed powers of Surf Zombies music to narrate dramatic
scenes. Whether opening for the King of Surf Guitar, Mr. Dick Dale, rocking out at major
