Album Notes

The debut album from one of New York's hottest bands, surrey lane.

Recorded at Marion Recording Studio by premiere recording engineer, Frank D. Fagnano (Hall & Oates, Naughty By Nature), this album highlights the band's incredible musical and vocal abilities.

Combining strong vocal and acoustic harmonies with a blend of real life, & funky lyrical energy, Surrey Lane has brought to life a new meaning of a pop-sounding folk/rock to the lives of NYC club patrons.

Over the past year, Surrey Lane has managed to capture the attention of many of New York City's top club regulars at The Baggot Inn, The Bottom Line, Arlene's Grocery, Paddy Reilly's & Rocky Sullivan's. In doing so, their fan base has nearly tripled since the band started playing together.

Surrey Lane strikes a nerve with the array of songs on its roster. Ranging from the passionate, stimulating feel of Turn Your Head and memorable groove of Pocket Morality, the band strives to create the kind of atmosphere in which the audience can feel the music and not just hear it. Several other songs on the album, including Sit & Watch the Trains and There's Me, leave us with a realistic impression, hitting the heart with a definitive impact. Surrey Lane is very passionate about their music and the impression it has on their fans.

The new voice in pop-folk, surrey lane.
