There is just so much material ...good, solid, timeless material. It was difficult to select the 28 songs for this CD. The Beatles without the lyrics. Do the songs hold up? You bet they do. With John's driving rhythm guitar, Ringo's steady two & four, Paul's complex groundbreaking bass texture and George's intricate compelling lead guitar, Beatle tunes have all the components of the instrumental classics of the '60's. On this recording we've tried to be faithful to all four. And then there's the unforgettable melodies and harmonies. We've tried to be faithful to those also. All that's needed are the words and you already know those. We hope you have as much fun listening and singing along as we did recording these 28.
