Album Notes

With a distinctive alto voice that makes you “feel in spite of yourself,” Susan Souza describes herself as a “rocker at heart.” Her music reflects her eclectic rock, pop, acoustic, and progressive influences.

Susan left her own successful business to reclaim her title as singer/songwriter/musician a few short years ago. Since then, she has garnished much attention:

In 2006, her CD Inside and Outside was nominated for OutMusic Outstanding Debut Recording.
She was runner-up in the March 2006 round of the Song of the Year contest.
In 2006, Inside and Outside was voted in the Top 10 of RainbowWorld Radio's top 40 chart for 12 consecutive months.
In 2007, she received Honorable Mention in the 14th Billboard World Song Contest for her song, “Won't Let Go.”

While advancing her solo career, Susan successfully launched a non-profit organization, Women’s KISS, which promotes female artists around the country.
