It seems to be a bit forced out... maybe surf is not the natural form of music for this band. But, hey, I hope I don't sound too critical. It has its moments, just not very many of them.

West 30 kicks off the instrumental mix of surf guitar and mysterio organ that dominates Susan and the Surftones’ Wrap-around. Led by Susan Yasinski’s guitar, the Surftones take a leisurely stroll through 10 originals and four covers.
While lacking the gritty fireworks of the group’s All the Beat ... All the Best Live, Wrap-around rewardingly details the quieter, more thoughtful places in surf music. Lonely Crimson Sea, Sand Dreamer and Blue’s Theme feature the classic lineup of keyboards, guitar and drums.
Wrap-around is not without punch though – in addition to the twangy West 30, Yaskinski’s Blondes in Cars roars along very nicely. Great covers of More (tasty guitar work), Ghost Riders in the Sky and a thumping version of the Clash’s Should I Stay or Should I Go keep things from getting too sedate.
