Album Notes

This is our eleventh CD release. Along with originals, we really enjoy playing covers. The band we have covered the most is The Beatles. This time around we decided to record an entire CD\'s worth of Beatle tunes from Hamburg to The White Album....16 instro versions. We\'re best known for our surf and garage instrumentals. Here you\'ll find our roots but with a big nod to The Beatles\' style of beat, rock and pop. It\'s authenic with a twist. We included a bunch of Beatle covers...yeah, we covered covers. Back in 1964 we got an education about American music from John, Paul, George and Ringo. We hope you enjoy hearing \'em as much as we enjoyed playing \'em.

REVIEWS:

\"New\" Gandy Dancer (UK), Davy Peckett, Issue 86
\"It\'s a relaxed, lovely album played straight without any effects or wizardry and all the better for it. Great to revist the old songs and the old days.\"

Reverb Central (USA), Phil Dirt
\"...a departure of sorts with the band playing many songs done by the Liverpool charmers in lovely and easy arrangements. This disc plays well as a scene setter.\"

Twist & Shake (USA), Beverly Paterson
\"Originally based out of New York, the combo eventually migrated to Portland, Orgeon where they remain today and have since earned accolades as one of the most interesting and respected groups to be had. Getting back to The Beatles, \"She\'s A Woman\" pays homage to the band\'s heroes in grand instrumental fashion. Not only will you approve of \"She\'s A Woman\", there\'s no doubt John, Paul, George and Ringo would too!\"
