Album Notes

Susan Z digs deep in this rocking CD, filled with "Queen-esque" harmonies, euphonious melodies and remarkable lyrics. "What can I say," she says. "I wrote most of these songs during and after a stormy relationship. No one can take ALL the blame for the mistakes, and I try and express that when I'm writing. I was no saint during that time, and I let the chips 'fall where they may' when the songs spilled out of me." Brilliantly produced by Grammy winning producer/songwriter, Jimi Fischer, "Cautionary Tales" will thrill you and have you singing along with the catchy hooks that Susan created. Thanks for supporting independent music!!!

when one hears the titles like wrecking ball, junk yard, or your revenge, one might think this cd is edgy, angry and full of the crap we get on alternative rock radio empty rage and winey. well if your computer stopped to read the notes on cautionary tail it won't even capture the sweet womanly passionate voice that sing the songs. like her first cd believe susan z's voice is sweet, strait forward, and if she wasn't happily maried like she told me in an email reply well i'd have a crush on her big time. so folks if you've got that someone in your life and your looking for music to fall in love to, well just turn the lights down low, get real close to that someone put your arms around and kiss them and put the cautionary tail cd on softly and low and see the reaction to it from that special someone. your someone and you will fall in love to it.
