WILLAMETTE WEEK
(pop rock) Susie Blue's new debut may be only six songs long, but it presents a fully formed artistic voice, one ready to capture Portland and possibly well beyond. One of the busy Ezra Holbrook's most expansive and polished productions to date, the EP Sink adorns Blue's affectingly melodic compositions with whispery keyboards, shimmering guitars and solid rhythmic support. Blue does the rest, making sure the earnest emotion in her voice penetrates that smooth pop backdrop. JEFF ROSENBURG
"What I find in Susie Blue are the qualities I enjoyed when I first discovered Christine McVey: songwriting, vocal delivery, and the ability to carry me to another place."

I really like this mini album. The songwriting is great. Very sad yet very listenable in a non depressing way.

Fantastic EP
author: Cecilia Pattison-Levi (BMA Magazine)
Susie Blue's "Sink" is a fantastic EP and there is not a bad track on this mini album. I was so impressed with the songwriting, beautiful haunting melodies and the production values. The first track 'Red Car' sets the mood and just takes the listener away. I hope there is more music like this on the way from Susie. Listen you won't be disappointed.

This CD hits me in an emotional spot that hasn't been hit in quite some time. I like to blast it in my car at night and sing along in full voice for a full catharsis. I also noticed that Susie loves to use the phrase, "I swear" a lot in her music. Funny, she swears a lot in real conversations too.

Sink is accomplished
author: KIM
Sink is an accomplishment. I love every song on this cd. I am looking forward to hearing it on the radio. Time for real women artists to take over for the young teenybop. Susie has a mature voice that is refreshing.
