Soulful pop-rock in a classic vein

Another exceptionally tuneful collection of rough cuts and demos (but complete songs, don't misconstrue) from Susie Hug, best known for her work with the Katydids. This collection, a follow-up to Huggets Vol. 1, offers more sneak peeks at the preliminary shape of some finished tracks from "A Is for Album" and some brand-new songs that are still waiting for final production touches. A home-brewed sampler full of charm and intelligence, showing again why Susie Hug is one of pop's criminally underrated, but never underappreciated, songwriters.
