Album Notes

Hello there! My name is Rick Sutcliffe. I would like to tell you a few things about my debut CD, "What You Hear Is What You Get". About three years ago(1998) I bought a porta studio eight track recorder. I recorded a few songs on it, trying to figure the thing out, (Mr. Bonehead here!). I took the porta studio over to a friend's house, Pete Halseth (Pistol Pete we call him!). With his help we recorded Crossroads of Life. Pete plays lead guitar on this song and Broken Heart. What a great guitar player he is! I then took the machine to a local recording studio, (Sleepless Nights Studio in Madison, WI. You guys rock!) and downloaded the music into their system. I was so impressed with the studio (it felt like home!) I decided to record the rest of my songs there. Since then I have been playing at open mikes around California. I have my CD for sale when I play and I have some at a Few local music stores. Give it a listen, Please do a review on it so I know what you think.I hope you like it!

Peace and Love
