Album Notes

Mother/Daughter country duo with a great sound.

From traditional to rockin' they have what it takes to get the message across.

Suzanne Geimer and her daughter Kelly and their wonderfully talented "SPECIAL ANGEL BAND" know how to communicate with their audience.

Their work to support and help troubled teens through their music and lyrics has drawn acclaim and recognition from many quarters - as has their music.

KNX NEWSRADIO Los Angeles proclaimed them Citizens of the Week in September 2000 and they continue to gain praise and recognition for helping troubled youth and families.

They have been featured in the L.A. Times, The Los Angeles Daily News, The Beverly Hills News, The Beverly Hills Weekly,NurseWeek Magazine, Music Connection and many other Publications.

A great country sound and a message that needs to be heard.

They have captured audiences with their Southern charm and spirited performances over the years at The legendary Palamino, Jack's Sugar Shack, Crazy Jack's, Ronnie Mack's Barn Dance, The Country Star and many others.

Suzanne and Kelly devote a great deal of their performing time to entertaining troubled youths at facilities such as Children of the Night, Covenant House California, The Scott Newman Center's Rowdy Ridge Gang Camp and other agencies assisting youth in crisis.

Long before such tragedies as the Columbine High School shootings seized the attention of the nation, Special Angel was using their music to show troubled teenagers that there really are people who understand and care about their issues.

Long recognized for their conviction to helping troubled teens, they are now receiving well deserved recognition for their music.

It's country, it's catchy, and it's meaningful.
