Album Notes

Brazilian Music is one of the most colorful and diverse forms of music in the world. It combines beautiful melodies with complex harmonies, and the rhythm is a perfect mixture of African and Jazz, by way of Rio de Janeiro.

Suzy Schwartz plays Flute with a warm, beautiful sound, and her creative improvisation and interpretation make this a wonderfully danceable CD.

The band is: Helio Alves, Piano; Paulo Andre Tavares, Guitar; Rob Curto, Accordion; Cidinho Teixeira, Piano;

Itaiguara Brandao, Bass; and Vanderlei Pereira, Drums and Percussion. They are some of the best Brazilian musicians living in New York City.

The tracks include everybody's favorite tunes, along with original compsitions by famous Flutist/Composer Lea Freire, and singer/guitarrist Joyce.
