A very, very good debut album!
author: Dag Fjellby
Robert Svilpa’s debut album ”The Sound of Thoughts” is surprisingly good. From the first to the last track, this sounds extremely well. This is technical brilliant, but it’s also still very melodic.
In some parts of the album Svilpa sounds very much like Porcupine Tree, IQ, Rush, Genesis, and even Pink Floyd. Even if it sounds like the mentioned bands, I really think Svilpa has made an album with his own music and his very own sound. I like the album a lot, and I’m looking forward to a follow up.
Over all this is well-produced progressive rock. If that’s the music you prefer, you shouldn’t miss out this CD! Strong compositions, very well performed and good sound, makes this album a winner. Congratulations Robert Svilpa – You’ve made a “winner album”! 5 Stars – Recommended.

Great songwriting and well-produced
author: Mike Florio
I really like the sound of this disc. Lots of energy, and there's a great 'live' feel. The playing is top-notch. The overall vibe is a bit on the dark side, but there's a lot of soul in this music, and the instumental textures are rich and expressive. The album is a bit long for my taste, but that just means there's more to enjoy.

Fascinating, eclectic, beautiful music
author: Stuart Allie
This album as it contains elements of jazz, rock, prog, space-rock. Moments remind me of Pink Floyd, other times are neo-prog to my ears. The music is beautifully composed and played. A rewarding and interesting listening experience. It's great to hear music recorded with the dynamics of the instruments (especially the guitars) left intact - it makes for a much more "live" and "real" recording. A fantastic album on all levels.

not perfect, but very good
author: Ben Tritsch
I can't say i love every song on this album, but the ones i like, i .really. like. "Pentelho Vermelho" and "Legend in His Own Mind" are two stand-out tracks, both very different styles from each other. A couple tracks get tedious but Svilpa's overall musicianship never faulters. Recommended
