Album Notes

This CD by “SVK”(Vintage) features Sax (S), Vocals (V), Keys (K) & Guitar (G). We also included a song featuring LA’s Great Jazz Trumpeter, Rick Perkins. Some have suggested that the “V” should represent “Variety” instead of “Vocals”. “SVK+G” has an Old School Groove, Flavored with Smooth Ballads and Sprinkled with Gospel Fusion of Danceable Rhythms & Jazzy Overtones.

About this CD
Generations are connected through music. There are moments, whether you were born a “Traditionalist” “Boomer”, “X”er or “Y”er, when you reflect on your life. Where you are; is directly reflected by where you’ve been. However, the most important question about Reflection is; do you like who you are? Then and only then, you can come to a decision on where you are going. Specifically, do you stay the course, modify or completely change directions. This CD is dedicated for those private moments of Reflection. Relax, Meditate and find Comfort in the smooth jazzy instrumentals. Be inspired by the various soulful vocalists, along with the fusion of gospel overtones. The message is simply, “Everything is gonna be Alright”.

Everyone has worries, some issues seems to never go away. Most worries fall into three major categories; (1) financial, (2) emotional (relationships, family, friends) and (3) occupational circumstances. Each Remix and Original Song was selected to help you through your moments of stress. Though the moment may seem like a lifetime and there appears to be no end in sight. Hear the message in “A Change is Gonna Come”, also listen to “Hold On”. Even the instrumentals like “Joy and Pain” and “Keep It Real”, lies a message that will flow into your mind not your ears. So take “A Stormy Ride” with us, use the music as a tool to help you recognize the solutions. Reflections will help you for decades to come. When the thunder storms reappear, wipe off the dust and pop it in again. The message will resurface. “Everything is gonna be Alright”.

So enjoy the ride ~ To Be Continue!!! (TBC)
