Mix Two Parts muddy water from the Mississippi Delta, two parts black water from the depths of a Florida Swamp, with sweet cane sugar from South Louisiana. Let it ferment for a century of musical tradition for a drink so strong and smooth it leaves bottles empty and dance floors full every day and at night at the Swamp Shack.
Featuring: Ben Prestage on Vocals, Guitar, Lap Steel, and Trumpet, about half the songs are Prestage’s original compositions. He, as solo musician, has performed from coast to coast, finished 3rd in the world at the 2006 International Blues Competition, was the only two-time recipient of the prestigious “Lyons/Pitchford Award” for “World’s Best Diddley-Bow Player.” Now he takes his music to new heights with his first band release: “Swamp Shack.”
