Album Notes

Here's what some people have to say about Kirby Swatosh:
"Hey, that guy owes me money!!!!"

Some other quotes:
"Enthralling, luminous, spell binding,astonishing"...but enough about his hair.

"Kirby Swatosh has been called the James Taylor of Clark County.
He is adept at blending folk and pop-music to something closer to The Beatles.

His new self-released album SWAT'S CANDY KITCHEN smacks of McCartney, and XTC with just a dash of sweet baby James thrown in.

His songwriting emulates the FAB FOUR. It's upbeat and generally happy, even when dealling with loss.

The James Taylor references come from the fact that Swatosh usually performs alone with his guitar and also from his reflective, well crafted lryics.

Case in point:
"She wants her laughter back/After years of wearing black/Surely her debts must all be paid/He wants her new address/to close the book on old regrets/He wants to see her sadness fade"from "TOGETHER IN TIME"
Brad McCray-PDX.com

"Kirby's music is a blend of thoughtful observations on life and love. His songs frequentley have a humorous twist which underscores his basic playful philosophy on life.
He also has always been polite and kept his room very neat and clean."

Starts out never losing its sense of melody. Like a warm summer breeze during a picnic. It continues with track three Denial like the ants to destroy that sunny day picnic saying hey we ain't no wimps so crank this one until the LED's stay in the red. All in all I would liken it to Steak and eggs with a nice Merlot rather than Oysters with sauted yak butter on a bed of seeweed and peanut butter. Buy it Now!
