Garret Swayne has been one of the best-kept secrets in Los Angeles for a long time.

For the past few years, he's only ventured out of the recording studio to play an occasional few showcases around town, usually leaving audiences dazzled and wondering "Who is this guy?" With the release of his breakthrough debut album, Garret is now ready to bring his intelligent blend of Country/Rock/Folkabilly to a wider audience.

Garret is a troubadour for the Digital Age, an award-winning singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter of extraordinary depth.

Originally from Baltimore, he has traveled extensively, charming audiences throughout the nation and the world with his unique brand of Americana.

He's put down roots now in Southern California, and in the burgeoning new LA Country Rock Music scene, he's emerging as a writer/performer with a classic sense of melody and groove, who happens also to be a real poet.

Stylistically, Garret is rooted in a hearty mix of indigenous American music forms-- the Folk Tradition, Rock&Roll, Motown, R&B, the Blues, and of course, Country&Western.

And all of these elements show up in the music.

This debut album contains 11 brilliantly crafted original songs.

They run the gamut from deeply wrought ballads of inner revelation, to slammin' dance tunes, to whimsical homespun tales of love and redemption--all delivered with honesty, conviction, and humor.
