Album Notes

This is Jessica New and Dannielle DeAndrea and we’re Sweet 17. We met hanging out at Producer/Composer Scooter Pietsch’s studio doing sessions. When everyone heard us sing together, they all said we sounded really good and should make a record. Scooter produced our trax and co-wrote the songs with us. We had such an incredible time making the record! Although we love all the songs, for starters maybe you should check out the super upbeat, fun “Supabeat” or the sticky sweetness of “Sweet Sweet Thang”; for more of a lush feel-good vibe try “Beautiful Day” featuring rapper Micah James or maybe our drifting anthem “Easy Ridin’” featuring rapper Gif Majorz. You know what, “Cali Caliente” is pretty cool too where Jess tosses off some Spanish and the song is a tribute to the cool life in SoCal.

We pre-released a few Sweet 17 tracks earlier in the year and got songs placed in 8 TV shows and 1 film. Jess is a native from Burbank Cali and sings for lots of television and film projects. You’ve probably heard her most on the theme to The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency on Oxygen. Danni relocated to LA from Australia 2 years ago. That means she has a really cool accent! She has recorded for labels in Australia, Europe and the US and has appeared on the UK Dance/Soul charts. Scooter has scored hundreds of tv shows and films and additionally produces several records a year. He has even been nominated for an Emmy Award!
