The journey starts in Jamaica and ends in bliss.

Will Wilson

The rockingest rocksteady ska beats around
I was given The Sweetbeats CD just before a swift journey through the countryside on a hot sunny afternoon and nothing could have been more perfect. The sun was shining and The Sweetbeats belted out quality tune after quality tune, pumping some of the tightest ska rock I have heard in a while, out of my speakers. I'm not quite sure how, but I managed to pick up the words to "Orange Street" almost instantly and sang along to my hearts content (no danger to oncoming traffic of course). Another particular favourite was "Hong Kong Flu" - again, I pictured myself in the line up, singing the coolest of harmonies with the band. The sound is great and the band are super tight. This is an excellent album to keep the spirits high and the party rockin'. I'm converted!
