the Sweet Leaf Boys are San Francisco’s #1 Trash Can Pop Rock band!

What is Trash Can Pop?

This unique style was created by combining a
reverent blend of the best traditions of Rock ‘n’ Roll history whether it be classic, psychadelic, punk, or pop and the application of a singular modern songwriting voice.

We're now into our 5th year of sporadic yet pleasing musical collaboration and creation. In 2004 the Sweet Leaf Boys made history with their first single, “Dark Town”, released on limited edition 7” vinyl only. Now they look forward to the 2006 release of their debut album, “Songs from the Holy Fool”. Both releases appear on Oakland’s infamous Splintered Tree Records and the album will enjoy international support from San Francisco’s pioneering co-op distribution giant, IDC.

2006 is proving to be a landmark year for the Boys as they continue developing their sound into newer, farther, and brighter reaches of the musical spectroscape.
