Sweet William did some growing up among the tumble weeds and fire hydrants of Brooklyn, NY. The sound is a little more Honky Tonk, a little harder-edged perhaps, featuring the vocal harmonies of Dock Oscar and Katherine Etzel (just like Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris) and starring Mike Nolan on pedal steel and lead guitar, who plays sessions with the likes of GE Smith and Garth Hudson.

"More Than Fun" is a departure from Sweet William's first rustic release "Gone to Seed" and gives just a little more to chew on and shake your stuff--with a rhythm section of Fred Stesney and Charlie Shaw (5 Chinese Brothers).
