ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hi folks!

Talk Radio - This is my second studio release of new original music. Back in the day - we used to call them records … and I suppose you still can.

I give you fourteen pure, straight forward, no-frills songs - that blend American roots rock ‘n roll with strong influence of blues, country, folk, and soul. Every song is unique and stands on its own merit, but I am especially pleased with the title song – Talk Radio – along with Something Blue, The Solid Wall, and I Already Know.

I think this music captures the great sound of rock ‘n roll music so familiar to millions of us. The kind of songs with substance and harmony that used to be so prevalent – the kind of music that today it seems can only be found on adult alternative contemporary radio, or quality satellite and internet radio. The kind of music that by the 2000 had become almost fully replaced with utter mediocrity – and the truth is, none of us knows how or why it happened … but I digress …

The songs on Talk Radio are written from the heart with good, clean – even fun – lyrics, great harmony, a strong back beat, and catchy guitar phrases and chords … period !!!

When asked who I sound like – or what genre I fit into – people really have to stop and think because, of course, I don’t quite sound like anybody else.

It also may be interesting to note that I wrote and arranged every song, played all the instruments, and performed all the vocals, but as a fun diversion - I only give myself credit for lead guitar and vocals, and feature the fictional Otis Rimer on rhythm guitar, Sedge Warwick on bass, and Victor “Pants” Johnson on drums.

So give me a spin, and check out my website at www.bradsweitzer.com. If you like quality music, you’re going to like Talk Radio.

Rock on,
Brad

I'm buying it!
I like the fact that this guy did everything...wrote 'em, played each instrument, mixed and mastered the recordings...and the songs are great! I do wish to hear other voice-ings in the harmonies to mix it up but hey can't have Don Henley back you up until you can afford to pay him . Sorry got carried away there...but it is true. Today it is hard to find quality musicians who will show up to practice...I know firsthand. Anyway I am buying this because it is quality music and you should too. Peace

I like the fact that this guy does everything on this CD. Wrote the music, played all the instruments, mixed and mastered the final product, and it sounds great! I'll come back and give it a final review after I hear all the tracks but for now I'm buying it because it is quality music and you should too.
