This guy loves country music! Stan is an award-winning country songwriter and performer. This debut CD, "Mexico" was released in 2004 to critical acclaim. He's sometimes characterized as "a little bit Lovett, a little bit Buffet" - but he's also a whole lotta Stan.
Stan's songs deal with the stuff real life's made of. Serious Songs like "Concrete Daisy" and the award-winning "Both Sides of the Coin" contrast with the lighter side of "It Ain't a Party", and "Bud". If you see Stan perform live, you're sure to laugh, cry, feel and think.

The songs on this album range from really upbeat, to very touching, to really funny. The lyrics really hit home and the arrangements are great. I have these songs popping up in my mind all the time.
I really recommend this album. Just listen to the preview of "Leanin' to Love", "They Call Me an American" and "Bud".

First of all, Stan's a great friend. Second of all, he knows all the Berkeley chords. Third of all, he's a great lyricist. Add them all together and you come up with "Mexico", a stellar collection of material that showcases the aforementioned talents and so much more. Stan's debut is a breath of fresh air and there truly is something for everyone on "Mexico". Don't miss it!
