Swords At Sundown is a four piece melodic hard rock band from Baton Rouge, La that began invading the music scene in June of 2006. Word spread quickly about the band as their arrival had been highly anticipated and stories of their highly energetic shows began circling around Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. During that time the band became known for their honest slam rock style of music and stage presence. Fast forward to over a year later and they have managed to develop a dedicated fan base and play an impressive amount of shows, sharing the stage with a few national acts along the way. In July 2007 they released their debut five song EP “At Light’s End”, which was recorded and produced by CEO of GVE Records, Rhett Mouton, who is also known for his achievements with other bands such as Meriwether and Echelon. Judging by how exciting and fast paced the previous year has been, the band looks forward to rocking more and more faces and growing into the next year.
