Mae Siu-Wai Stroshane is a longtime Boston performer, teacher and songwriter. She is a classically trained piano rebel who has performed her improvisations and songs in community festivals, benefits, and for movie soundtracks since 1977.

"Clear Mountain Spring" is a collection of 10 original piano tracks opening with "Prelude & Dawn," the quiet breath that comes before the glorious beauty of dawn. "Mountain Air" celebrates the fresh new day with exuberant joy, followed by "A Healing Prayer" for those who seek comfort in their lives.

"Felicia's Theme" is a heartfelt ode for lovers featured on a movie soundtrack,, while "Amtrak Lullaby" takes you for an easy ride on a night train. "Bullfrog Boogie" wakes you up and gets you boppin' to cheerful 12-bar blues. "Waterfall" will transport you to a rushing mountain stream, and in its depths you'll find yourself immersed in the beauty of the "Clear Mountain Spring."The journey ends with sheer exuberance of "Free Fantasy." It's a journey for everyone's enjoyment!

This album was produced & engineered by Rich Stroshane of pianomama productions. Recorded live on a Yamaha grand at the Honan-Allston Library in Allston, MA, by special permission of Branch Director Sarah Markell.
