Based in Los Angeles, California, SX4 is a new, cutting- edge vocal group. With their intense harmonies and powerful lead vocals, you can only imagine how much hard work these exotic beauties have dedicated to their craft.
SX4 has three singles on the Kool & the Gang Presents: Gangland compilation album released worldwide. SX4 has performed on national televisions; Showtime in Harlem(UPN), and 30 seconds to Fame(Fox) as well as many cable music shows. To date, SX4 has performed live for over 500,000 people.
SX4 recently performed at The Hollywood Bowl in L.A., singing backup vocals for Kool and the Gang to a sold out stadium of 18,000 people. They also perform at many of the Night Clubs in L.A. SX4 tours southern Cali with several youth groups, such as Future America, the Kiwanis Youth Club and several asian organizations. SX4 showcases at festivals, conventions, sport tournaments, political functions, fund raisers at the Eldorado Hotel Casino in Reno, Nevada to name a few.
SX4 has performed with the Four Tops, Chic, Village People, the Platters and many of the hard-working and up and coming new acts like Kai, One Vo1ce, Devotion, Sweet Obsession, Damozelmand and so on.
SX4 devised a marketing strategy to fund and promote themselves. They sell their CDs all over L.A. directly to the people, and they create their fanbase with hugs and hand shakes. To date, they've sold just over 1600 cds.
Chelsea, Dilini and Evelyn have written and collaborated on most of their fifty recorded songs. They also design their own wardrobe, choreograph their own dances, and produce all the copy and graphics for their promotional print material.
