Music is my biggest passion because it gives you the ability to be whatever you want to be through the power of words. As a lyricist you can be a poet, a profit, a villain or a hero. You can come make up the newest dance, you can start the newest look, and create living qoutables.Music can set a person's mood, change the way we think, paint pictures of ideas, and start new trends. I mean its really all about creating and that starts in the mind which is why I go by Sycosis. I'll explain that a little more later.

I've been writing and performing Hip-Hop since the age of 12 but didn't really get serious about it until High School. From freestyle battling, to kickin a cypher I got more and more involved in using word play and developing a solid delivery.Growing up in Chicago and in the Midwest, you hear and see every kind of style so mine is a combination of all different regions.So if you don't feel one track, check out another one, I might come off on it completely different.

My main objective is to challenge how people look at and approach making Hip-Hop music.It's no one way to do it and every artist from underground to mainstream can have a purpose. But lets make it an art again, lets look at how we can do what hasn't been done and say what hasn't been said. Let's make Mind Right Music!
