Sylvarluxe was formed in downtown Manhattan in the early part of the twenty-first century with filmmaker Richard Sylvarnes and Welsh born singer Katy Lewis who sang with the all girl group Moxy. Originally Sylvarluxe made evocative soundtrack music for films but later was compelled to explore vocals and the night scene with uncomprimising art pop experimentation of lust and decay in a world gone wrong.
