Again, this style of Classical music is generally for the occasional or ordinary music listener, for the curious, for those who just need a change from other musical genres, and for the serious musician.
Selections include various Preludes by Chopin, with somewhat of a twist and with added electric and acoustical instruments. Chopin's third Ballad is included in bare bones piano only, as he would probably prefer it. There is some sprinkling of Bach, Chopin's Minute Waltz (which was chosen to be played on a commercial in Western Europe, and another orchestrated "Tschai" piece (“Chanson Triste”).
The last piece is from the "flip side" of the NutCracker Suite called "Pas de Deux". This also has a short dance ending designed for dancers who did not get started at the beginning of this piece. Putting this piece together took a little time. Also included, is the first movement of Tchaikovsky's "Serenade in C", and arranged for two pianos (Concert Grand, of course!) along with the violins. Of the many pieces Czerny has composed for his "Art of Finger Dexterity" manuscript, No. 8 of Opus 740 is included.
Hope you enjoy listening to these various selections.
CD albums I, II,and IV are also available.
