Album Notes

The System After is band based out of Peoria, IL. The group was formed in January 2006 by vocalist Dustin Stoecker, drummer Brad Heid, and guitarist Dave Zumbek. Guitarist Jarret Witmer was added to the group in April 2006. The band went through multiple bass players throughout their career, but found a fit with Charlie Sissom who was added to the band in August 2007.

The System After has played all over the Midwest in Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, and of course Illinois, with sights set on expanding their musical reach. They have opened for national acts including the Deftones, Anthrax, FLAW, Silent Civilian, Allele, Year of Desolation, and Saving Jane, as well as having played at many popular venues.

The System After released their first full length CD, "Thrill or Be Killed," on November 17th 2007. The CD features 14 tracks which include the 5 track demo released August 25, 2006.

I am an avid supporter of local music. I sampled this cd knowing nothing about this band. But I love it! Infact the next day i went to my local Co-Op Records store and bought it, and it has yet to leave my cd player.
