Undoubtedly, Taalam finds himself among a rare and very minute group of modern day prophets. Truly gifted, deeply spiritual.I am a clergyman that serves in a not-for-profit organization in Newark, NJ with 18-21year old homeless,abused, addicted, and gang related young people that society has attempted to throw away.  Interestingly, although many of them are mentally and emotionally challenged, they connect with and respond to a lot of Taalam's work. For instance, in a group setting one day I played "Market 4 Ni$$az" to stimulate conversation about the current state of hip-hop. Immediately after hearing the piece one young man chimed in and said "yo that shit was crazy tight son - i'm feelin dude!" He went on to say "dude is pullin some covers back with all that truth but heads really don't want to hear that because they caught up in all that fake shit that they see in videos." I commended him for his insight, then went on to show the entire group how this young mans comment had vividly proved Taalam's point for writing the piece. Taalam keep doing what you were put here to do, your work is helping more people than you could ever begin to imagine! From one Jersey brother to another, represent!!!

This is my first CD by Taalam.  I am hooked.  The sista that has him better be treating him like GOLD! and the gift from GOD!  Taalam you have to be real because not just anybody can role like the words that come off your tongue.  I pray that one day you will pay VA a visit because I would be the first in line.
