Close your eyes and you're apt to think it's Sting. Scot Taber has the same tonality and gentle tenor; he also has a similar love for blending disparate world beats. Taber's music integrates rhythms from India, Africa and the Middle East with an emo-techno ambience. An alumnus of jazz and flamenco, Taber grafts his musical background onto contemporary and classical elements. Helping out on bass, cello and backing vocals is David Hamilton, and Jo David Reyes assists with udu, cajon, bells, talking drum and other percussion instruments.
