ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Founded in 1947. Taicuba has been resident at the world famous el Floridita Bar in Havana since inception. Taicuba were regulars at the world famous Buena Vista Social Club They performed for some of Cubs most famous visitors Ernst Hemmingway Marilyn Monroe Noel Coward and Clark Gable.
They have toured the world over form Peking to Paris and well as being frequently requested by Fidel Castro. They have regularly played at London Famous Boisdale jazz club and this charming CD is the result.
