The "Two Ti Leaf" CD graphic artist Raymond Yuen and Wayne Takamine won recognition from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts and Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for being one of the top 5 CD cover designs for all CDs released in 2002.
"Two Ti Leaf" is the third CD recording by Wayne Takamine.
It is a collection of songs recorded at Wayne's studio Two Ti Leaf Productions. It features three new original songs including "Two Ti Leaf" and "Only One In the World," three new arrangements of previously recorded songs including "Sunset Slack", "Without Words" and "Hawaiian Nights and Summer Dreams" and four cover tunes that includes "The Hawaiian Wedding Song", "Heartlight" and "Beyond the Sea."
The "Island Style" arrangements features Wayne's Acoustic Guitar along with Hawaiian Steel Guitar by Bobbie Ingano, Ukulele by Tracy Terada, Latin Percussion and Drums by Stacy Tangonan, Acoustic and Electric Bass by Pete Doktor, Isaac Hokama and Ernie Provencher and Wayne's Keyboard and Rhythm arrangements.
"Ti Leaf" has been known to chase away evil demons and bring good fortune. For the "Two Ti Leaf" CD, the power of the "Ti Leaf" has certainly proven it worth and I hope that good fortune will be spread to all who listen to it.

One of the popular songs from the disc is the title cut "Two Ti Leaf". It has been put into rotation on at least 5 stations including KHUI FM 99.5 The Breeze, KPOA, KNUQ, KUAI and KBIG.

Two Ti Leaf Productions TTL CD 02 Wayne Takamine's third CD is a compilation of new arrangements of previously released tunes and some new takes by the romantic singer-guitarist. If you''ve never heard of Takamine, think Audy Kimura-they share the gentleness and warmth associated with love songs, some with Island seasonings.
'Hawaiian Nights and Summer Dreams,' a new arrangement of the title song from Takamine's debut disc has a coziness that spells nocturnal romance. His other originals range from the instrumental 'Sunset Slack' to the rackaballad 'Two Ti Leaf.' Takamine interprets a couple of pop hits, including 'Tiny Dancer,' the Elton John signature; 'Beyond the Sea,' an old hit by Bobbie Darin; and 'Heartlight,' the Neil Diamond charmer.
The new versions are not trailblazers but offer insight into Takamine''s musical soul; He appreciates certain tunes that have everlasting appeal. On the other hand, 'Hawaiian Wedding Song' as a guitar solo is soulful and introspective; without words (lyrics are in the liner pamphlet, however), the blissfulness of an island wedding still shines and delights.
