ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We are Taking Liberties; we formed in February 2010 and we’re based mid-way between Manchester and Liverpool. As a band, we spent the first few months getting on our feet and learning the songs that Jay Clarke wrote acoustically whilst looking for a band. The songs describe our anger and frustration towards people that we grew up with, growing up in the areas we were brought up in and the struggle to persuade people that you can get somewhere from a nowhere town. The band name was inspired by the people that most of the songs are written about. The Debut release describes our feelings towards those people. The EP has alread gained great support including BBC airplay! Its going to be amazing! Support us! Taking Liberties Forever!
