Album Notes

..........Talbot Brothers Band was a dream of my cousin Wayne Talbot. Unfortunately we never managed to put it together. It's in his memory, and that of my brother Randy Talbot that I made this CD................Larry Talbot.

Wayne's favorite music was blues of all kinds. He loved playing the harmonica and saxophone. So as just a keyboard player I had my work cut out. With a computer, midi sequencer, samples and the amazing Roland Fantom X keyboard I gave it a shot. Needless to say, it's not your typical blues recording just a groovy, funky jam session with some blues flavor.... That's-FROM HERE TO THERE.......LT
Produced at WHEREWOLF STUDIO................
Wherewolf Studio produces a wide spectrum of dynamic instrumental driven original music, not bound by genres. From ambient chill, experimental electro blues, deep house, drum & bass, newage, soulful funk and hip/hop to name a few.Tapping into the infinite reservoir of creativity, bridging old school with new while stepping oh so close to the edge. The aim to connect with you, the listener. Decades of influences contribute to the rhythms, grooves, textures, ambience and the overall sound construction.
Larry Talbot....aka..L.T. started at an early age playing trumpet and piano, it wasn't long before guitar became his instrument of choice. At 13, he and his best friend Tom Cypher(drums)formed a band.A true garage band. After some years in local bands playing guitar and occasionally keyboard, he traded in all his guitar gear for a Hammond B-3 organ. Playing organ full time in a variety of bands sharpened his skills as a keyboard player. The "Collections" featuring a horn section led by Ted Larson(sax) and Gary Vajgrt(trumpet) played the midwest for many years. But jamming' with a bass player(Steven E. Rogers,Seve Rall) and/or drummer (Tommy Alesio also of the "Collections") laid the foundation for writing and arranging his own music.

Then came a detour in the road and he sold all his gear. Gradually he started playing again, mainly on old upright pianos.

In 1990 with the purchase of a computer , Roland A-30 midi controller keyboard and a midi sequencing program he began creating music again. Amazed at the possibilities, more and more time was spent learning and experimenting with this type of music production. As time and money allowed he continually upgraded his meager studio and expertise. Writing, arranging and recording became a passion.

"The passion for making music is a powerful force. If you can rule your passions, desires and fears perhaps success will come your way. Focusing on a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and armed with faith, determination and the love of music I hope to progress in a positive direction."

My favorite piece of gear is the Roland Fantom X keyboard (though I'd love to have a Hammond B-3 again). Everything is done on the computer using samples and various software programs. I hope to collaborate in the near future. It seems I spend ½ my time writing, arranging and recording and the rest is spent in the mysterious world of music production. I like many styles and genres of music. This is the second and last Talbot bros. band CD,I now devote my time to the music of TLT50 and Wherewolf Studio Productions... BE WELL& TAKE CARE Larry T.......
