On this CD, a celebrated iParenting Media Award winner and a NAPPA Honors Award winner, Tales 'n Tunes perform traditional folk and fairy tales, with original songs creatively blended into them.

The CD highlights eight world tales chosen for the universality of their message. These stories and songs celebrate the interconnectedness of people, cultures and countries. They are designed, as well, to enhance auditory skills through participation.

On this hour-long recording, Carol Connolly and Don Darmer invite listeners to travel down a road in Pakistan with four animal friends, listen to a vain cuckoo bird sing on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, and dance and sing with a clever porcupine in the African jungle.

Tales 'n Tunes' high energy performance features character voices, tandem telling and toe-tappin', finger-snappin', hand-clappin' tunes which will have kids and adults singing along in no time! This unique combination of stories and music has been described as "storytelling with an extra dimension."
