Beautiful voice and great songs
author: Karin Willison
Broadway performer Tamra Hayden's first album shows that her warm, rich voice is as well suited to acoustic folk and pop as it is to the stage. The album showcases her songwriting talent as well, especially sultry, bluesy "Lucky" and intense "Ride". "8th Great Wonder" is a tune you'll find yourself singing all day. There's lots of emotion here too; you'll get tears in your eyes at her moving rendition of "Song for an Accident" by Barbara DeCesare and David Wolfson, and "Always And Only You" will break your heart. Highly recommended.
